To find a stamp.
If you are a trained collector or philatelist you will be able to find the stamp directly in the main menu. Frimindeks.dk is build logically with the oldest stamps first and the newest in the end.
If you are not in a position, where you can find the stamp so easily. You can use the following guide.

First make sure you are sitting with a Danish stamp. Only the very early issues do not have the country name DANMARK on the stamp. So if the stamp is not old or have either the value RBS or s. (skilling) written it is a stamp from Denmark only when you can see DANMARK written on the stamp.

As in most other countries you can divide all stamps in two categories. Special issues and the series used year after year. The daily issues from Denmark all have the same size, except for the very early stamps without DANMARK written. If the stamp you want to find is not a special issue, you should be able to find the motive on the stamps illustrated below. Find the motive and follow the link by pointing at the stemp and press the mouse button. Then you should be guided to the page, where you can find the stamp. Only look for the motive. The colour and value of the stamp you are sitting with, most likely differ from the one illustrated below.

All special stamps are easy to find if they have the year of the issue printed. After 1970 all Danish stamps have the year printed on the stamp. In most cases it is placed in very small figures on the white frame below the motive of the stamp. Use a magnifying glass. When you have found the year just go to the link with that year.

If you are sitting with a special issue without a year it is most likely to be found
on one of the pages 1933 to 1970. You have to look through these 7 pages to find
the stamp unless it is illustrated below -
